Apple Just Revealed the New iPhone 15 and There’s Now a USB-C Charging Port
The next generation of iPhones are finally here, and just like any Apple product, there are several new features to get excited about.
And one thing that Apple is sure most people will like, is the brand new USB-C port!
That’s right, Apple has finally ditched the Lightning ports for the more universal USB-C, yes!
Alongside the USB-C port, Apple says that the new iPhones are of course, faster, stronger, and have better screens; did we really expect anything less?
Now there are several models to keep in mind if you do plan on upgrading your phone.
The list of models are as follows:
- iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus
- iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max
Starting with the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, these cell devices are smaller than the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
However, Apple has finally listened to fans and have introduced a pretty and pink phone that is the perfect shade of pink!
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models also feature an array of new shiny colors including a baby blue, light green, pale yellow, pastel pink, and black.
With a thinner border and ceramic shield technology, these two features make the iPhone 15 and iPhone Plus sleeker at first glance and more durable when it’s dropped.
Moving along to the Pro and Pro Max, the iPhone 15 models in this category naturally have larger screens.
Featuring a titanium case that makes this iPhone incredibly durable and super lightweight, you’ll be happy to know that if you find your cell to be too heavy to carry, both of the newer models are the lightest yet.
Although one of the biggest changes to the iPhone Pro is the new Action Button.
The action button, replaces the tiny switch on the left hand side of current iPhone models with a new press and hold feature that allows you to customize its commands and of course, silence your phone.
Of course there are also several new technology advances that vary depending on the model iPhone you choose, such as the updated Dynamic Island or the enhanced and upgraded camera.
Although if you’re not interested in getting a new iPhone, Apple has also revealed two new watches including the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2.
Arguably one of the coolest advances that both new watch additions include is the Double Tap feature.
This new addition allows you to tap your thumb and index finger to perform a variety of commands without even touching the watch itself.
Pre-orders for all iPhone 15 models begin this Friday, on September 15 directly from Apple and select retailers, while the new Apple Watch models can pre-ordered now on Amazon.
The Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will officially be up for grabs to buy on September 22.
