Ahhh My first 1000 words are up at Miss Snark’s First Victim. I am so stressed out seeing them there! It will be okay though… and I know they will be much better after the commenters get done… right???
Good luck! I once had a query letter in one of Miss Snark’s contests. I was so nervous, though it really wasn’t so bad. Hope it goes well for you!

Sometimes, it is the order of paragraphs that determine the success (and/or failure) of a book. From my personal experience on MSFV, the input from the ‘critters’ definitely helped my opening – I also ended up swapping paragraphs around to make for a better opening. Also, a fresh set of eyes always helps. Keep up the good work.
