This ‘Broom Challenge’ Can Be Easily Done By Women But Not Men

What is even going on right now?

There is a viral TikTok challenge — this time it’s not a life-threatening thing — where people simply hold onto a broomstick and place it close to the floor.

They then try to step over the stick.

Both feet have to make it over the stick. And, you can’t let go.

This simple task seems easy enough, right?

Well, turns out, females have no problem completing the challenge.

But, males, on the other hand, can’t seem to get their feet over the broom without face planting.

In fact, many of them appear to be “stuck.” Ha!! They can’t even make their brains lift their feet to step over the dang broom handle.

Here’s Why Men Struggle With Stepping Over The Broom.

It all has to do with the center of gravity.

The center of mass for most girls is lower to the hips, while the center of mass in boys is much higher. Therefore for most girls, the center of mass while bent over — is above their feet, while the center of mass for boys is [higher].

Not JUST that, but men usually have larger feet — longer than a woman’s foot.

They have trouble lifting those bad boys up and over the broom.
