There is a dude on TikTok that is claiming Starbucks has been scamming people for years.
In a video posted to TikTok, user @sueco claims that Starbucks drinks are all actually the same size.
Now, I used to work at Starbucks, and can tell you that they are NOT all the same size. A ‘Tall’ is 12 oz, a ‘Grande’ is 16 oz, and a ‘Venti’ is 20 oz.
That’s only 4 ounces difference between sizes. They are pretty close, but not exactly the same size.
BUT, through the magic wizardry of TikTok, @sueco pours coffee from one cup to the other, and they are all the same size.
Let’s show em who got the best coffee. bang my line, tours almost sold out, let’s make it run on dunkin.@sueco
His video has close to 8 million views, and it supposedly has Starbucks paying attention.
A Second Video Shows A Cease And Desist From Starbucks
In a SECOND video posted by @sueco, he claims that Starbucks has written him a Cease and Desist letter for Mass Defamation.
According to @sueco, Starbucks is threatening a defamation lawsuit and deletion of all his social media accounts.
I mean, does Starbucks actually have the ability to delete social media accounts?
I’m not sure I believe the video. Let me rephrase that. I’m sure I don’t believe this video.
It’s pretty coincidental that @sueco is planning a “world tour” — for WHAT, I’m not sure — at the same time his TikTok videos have gone viral.
Seems, I’m not the only one who is calling this video sus.
While SOME commenters want to jump on the Starbucks vs. Dunkin’ coffee debate — Dunkin’ tastes like a**, IMHO — a lot of commenters are calling out @sueco for faking the whole thing.
@Sueco even included a clip of himself “getting interviewed by TMZ.” Um — why on earth would TMZ jump on this story?
Funny. He mentions his “world tour” again. Hmmmm. Drumming up ticket sales, much?
Y’all. Question everything.
