Tyra Banks Said We May Be Getting A ‘Coyote Ugly’ Reboot

Can you believe it’s been 20 years since ‘Coyote Ugly‘ came out? Tyra Banks was in the movie and played a character named Zoe.

‘Coyote Ugly’ quickly became a pretty big deal and brought in $113 million at the box office! Not to mention all of the themed bars that popped up because of the popularity of the movie.

Tyra Banks was on The Kelly Clarkson Show today! While they were talking she said that she and Maria Bello (she played Lil in the movie) are talking about making a ‘Coyote Ugly’ sequel or possibly a reboot as a television series!

I literally was supposed to be on a conference call today about bringing Coyote Ugly back.

Coyote Ugly and a girl with big dreams…

If you have never watched the original ‘Coyote Ugly’, it’s about a girl named Violet Sanford (played by Piper Perabo). She moved to New York to try to pursue a singing career. Violet got a job at a bar called Coyote Ugly to make money while she followed her dream.

There actually is a real Coyote Ugly Saloon in New York City. It was opened in 1993 by Liliana “Lil” Lovell. The original bar is closed now, but it’s still a pretty cool story on how that all started.

We were supposed to be on a call today, and I’m talking to you and I can’t talk to them. Yes, we are talking about trying to do Coyote Ugly 2 or a series.
