The pattern says it is an intermediate/hard pattern. So you do need some existing crochet skills to make this cutie! Or, if you’re brave…just do it anyhow!

The pattern comes as a PDF that has detailed instructions and many photos to help guide you through set-by-step. When finished, if you used the same materials as the pattern maker, the llama will measure about 25 cm tall.
They must be easy to customize too! When looking through the reviews I see where people made their own tweaks. This lady below, made them in different sizes for an adorable llama family!
Love this pattern. Joining the legs and working the lower body took a bit of concentration (more fiddly than difficult) but once I had managed that, the remainder was very easy. I made three as gifts and the recipient was delighted.
