My 7 year old Daughter, Brylee Mae was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in December 2020. It is a life changing disease and came at a very stressful time during Covid. It’s been especially hard for such a young girl to understand why she has to have shots 4 times a day and test her blood so much. As we approach her year anniversary. We are trying to plan something special for her. As you can imagine, her medications are very expensive and we aren’t able to do anything special for her. I’m writing to ask her favorite locations if they would send a special “anniversary” something. It would really lift her spirits and let her know she is not alone in this everyday battle. Brylee loves her water, especially tumblers. We have searched far and wide for Type One Decorated/themed/personalized Tumblers/water jugs. She drinks a ton of water. It is her lifeline! As you can imagine with medical costs and prescriptions, we do not get the chance to get her new stuff very often. We are trying to surprise her with some of her favorite things for her Diaversary 🙂 It would be a Christmas miracle if Santa were able to give her a violin of her own!
