Danny Masterson's Wife Has Filed For Divorce Just Days After His Sentencing Hearing

Yikes. I thought this might be coming.

ICYMI, Danny Masterson was convicted and sentenced to 30 years in prison for the rape of 2 women back in the early 2000s.

It has kind of caused turmoil in the lives of everyone around him, including Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who sent in character letters to the judge hoping to get him a lighter sentence.

That did not go over so well with the public. *Cringe Emoji*

His wife, Bijou Phillips, initially said that she was going to stand by him, but that has apparently changed.

According to TMZ, Bijou has filed court papers in a Los Angeles-area courtroom to dissolve her marriage of 12 years to Danny Masterson.

Ms. Phillips has decided to file for divorce from her husband during this unfortunate time. Her priority remains with her daughter.

I don’t know whether to think this is a sad turn of events, or whether to say, “Good for you, Bijou!”

I mean, Danny turned out to be a pretty bad guy, and he’s going to be pretty much out of the picture for 30 years.

This period has been unimaginably hard on the marriage and the family. Mr. Masterson was always present for Ms. Phillips during her most difficult times of her life. Ms. Phillips acknowledges that Mr. Masterson is a wonderful father to their daughter.

Now, Bijou stayed by Danny’s side throughout the entire trial, even accompanying him to his sentencing hearing.

That had to be so difficult. The man you love is getting sentenced for rape. Unimaginable.
