First, you’ll need the following ingredients including:
- Pillsbury’s refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 3 tablespoons of mild molasses
- 1/4 cup of all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

- 1/2 ground of allspice
- 1/4 ground of cloves
After you’ve gathered all of your ingredients the next few steps are simple and to be exact, there are only 4 of them!
You’ll need to first search for a large bowl because this bowl is where you will be combining the sugar cookie dough, molasses and the remaining ingredients.
Pillsbury notes that you should also mix the ingredients in the bowl together with your hands, talk about a recipe truly from scratch am I right?
Once your ingredients are combined evenly, you’ll want to divide the dough into 2 and wrap it in plastic wrap for 1 to 2 hours according to the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
After your dough is thoroughly chilled, you can use cookie cutters to shape your dough into gingerbread men while the oven is pre-heating to 375°F.
Now it’s the oven’s turn to get to work and your cookies should only be baked for 7 to 9 minutes!
Decorate your gingerbread men and women as you please and now you have a fun filled dessert that’s easy to bake and delicious to eat! You can check out the full recipe here, on Pillsbury’s website.
