According to reports, there are a total of 5 members aboard the OceanGate Titan submersible. This includes 1 pilot and 4 passengers.
Hamish Harding
Hamish is an experienced pilot and has been dozens of expeditions such as thing one.
He also holds several Guinness World Records, including one for the longest time spent exploring the deepest part of the ocean on a single dive.
He wrote on his Facebook page prior to the expedition saying:
I am proud to finally announce that I joined OceanGate Expeditions for their RMS TITANIC Mission as a mission specialist on the sub going down to the Titanic.
Due to the worst winter in Newfoundland in 40 years, this mission is likely to be the first and only manned mission to the Titanic in 2023. A weather window has just opened up and we are going to attempt a dive tomorrow. We started steaming from St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada yesterday and are planning to start dive operations around 4am tomorrow morning. Until then we have a lot of preparations and briefings to do.
The team on the sub has a couple of legendary explorers, some of which have done over 30 dives to the RMS Titanic since the 1980s including PH Nargeolet.

Paul-Henri Nargeolet
Paul-Henri Nargeolet is a French maritime expert who has been on over 35 dives to the Titanic wreck site.
He is the director of underwater research for RMS Titanic, Inc. which is an American company that owns the rights to the Titanic wreckage and displays many of the artifacts in Titanic exhibitions around the world.
Shahzada Dawood and Suleman Dawood
Shahzada Dawood is a billionaire and vice-chairman with the Pakistani polymer and chemical company.
According to reports, he and his 19-year-old son were among the passengers on this missing vessel.
Stockton Rush
According to reports, Stockton Rush is believed to be the fifth passenger on the sub.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of OceanGate, the company behind the tour.
