Here's Everything We Know About Matthew Perry's Death

As we all now know, Matthew Perry passed away last month.

He was found unresponsive in his hot tub, and rumors have been swirling about his cause of death.

Now, his death certificate has been released, and while it sheds some light on his passing, it really leaves us with more questions than answers.

The big question on all of our minds, were drugs involved?

Here’s what we know:

Matthew died at 4:17 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, and he was found unconscious in his hot tub.

He underwent an autopsy, but they are not releasing a cause of death yet.

Once they establish the actual cause of death, the death certificate will be updated to reflect what they find.

As of last week, his death has been listed on the online record as “deferred” and his body is “ready for release” to his next of kin. But the page has since been removed.

We know they are waiting on toxicology reports, and those could take a couple weeks to return.

I imagine what they’re doing right now is discussing the findings with the prosecutor and the family, and that in good time it will be when they should release the findings.

It’s possible that if illegal drugs are found in his system prosecutors could get involved.

But, I mean, what are they going to do? He’s already gone.
