Hershey’s Is Releasing Superhero Chocolate Bars And Giving The First Batch To First Responders
As if I needed MORE reason to eat chocolate!
Hershey’s Chocolate has partnered with DC Comics to bring us Superhero Chocolate Bars.
Just in time for my son’s birthday, might I add! This couldn’t be more perfect timing!! I’ll take one of each please.
That is great in and of itself, but it gets even BETTER!!
Hershey’s is donating the first batch to the REAL Super Heros — the medical workers and first responders who are on the frontlines of this coronavirus pandemic.
The Hershey company is no stranger to helping out whatever crises are thrown our way.
During the Great Depression, they created many jobs for those that would otherwise be unemployed.
They also made ration bars for the Army soldiers during WWII.
During THIS crisis, they have employed more people, and have set up a second manufacturing line, that focuses their efforts on making much needed face masks.
It is SO fitting that the true heros of this world wide crisis be given this small gesture of thanks from the Hershey Company. It is the small gestures that often end up meaning the most.
That being said, once summer hits, and these bars hit stores, it’s game on! I’m coming for ya, Superhero bars!
