I can not believe I never knew this, I am a big fan of all of the ‘Back to the Future movies’.

Crispin Glover is one of my favorite actors, he has this special quirkiness about him that I just love.

As you probably already know, Crispin Glover played George McFly, Marty’s dad, in the ‘Back to the Future’ movies… or did he??? Well, yes and no…

I was today years old when I found out that it’s not actually true and Crispin Glover sued the filmmakers of ‘Back to the Future II’!

So yes, he did play George McFLy in the first film. During the filming the special effects department made face molds to use for making the aged prosthetics to make him look older in the movie.

Well, it turns out that they didn’t have him come back as George in parts II and III, but they did use his likeness and duped us all! Crispin sued and won!

The character of George McFly in parts II and III was played by Jeffrey Weissman, who looks a little like Crispin.

They used the molds taken for the first film to turn Jeffrey into the same character which is Crispin’s likeness!

Crispin Glover sued Universal Pictures in 1990 for using his likeness without his permission, which misled so many people, and he won!

How did I not know this?? Did you know? Now I need to go back and rewatch everything, my life is a lie…
