Chick-fil-A may have taken away their Coleslaw last year, but that hasn’t stopped fans of the tangy “side salad” to recreate the menu item that once was.

In fact, when the ‘Eat More Chicken’ chain removed its famous side dish, let’s just say that the public wasn’t happy about the decision.

However, this isn’t the first time a fast food restaurant removed a popular item from menus.

And as we’ve seen from the past ghosts of discontinued menu items, many of the items have made a triumphant return thanks to the outcries of individuals on social media.

Although until then, Chick-fil-A has extended an olive branch to help settle all of the commotion and while they haven’t welcomed back their iconic Coleslaw, they did release the recipe for it!

So rather than tossing together random ingredients to try and recreate the taste, Chick-fil-A released the exact steps on how to make the Coleslaw right at home.

Considering the recipe comes directly from Chick-fil-A, the Coleslaw you make at home should taste exactly as if you ordered it at the drive-through!

Plus whenever you’re craving the crunchy side snack, you don’t have to hop in the car for it.

It’ll be like the vegetable dish never left in the first place.

So be prepared to make room in your recipe book.

The meal only requires seven ingredients to make, and the best part about this recipe is that it’s about as easy as pie to make.

The most you’ll be doing is just a few rounds of mixing.

Keep in mind to set aside two hours to chill before serving and now you never have to say goodbye to Chick-fil-A’s fan favorite side dish again!
