This Ice Skater Just Nailed The Wednesday Addams Viral Dance And You Have To See It
I love to watch ice skating, but when that ice skating includes a snippet of Wednesday Addams’ dance routine — GAH!!!
This is absolutely the best recreation I have seen of Wednesday’s über popular dance — that dance from the Wednesday series on Netflix.
Figure skater, Kamila Valieva, put on an ice skating outfit worthy of Wednesday — that princess of goth, herself — and channeled her perfectly in a dance routine on the ice.
She entertained the audience with Jenna Ortega’s original choreography, as The Cramps song “Goo Goo Muck” echoed around the arena.
Kamila was able to incorporate the exact dance from Wednesday into an awesome routine that included jumps and gorgeous footwork as she floated around the ice.
She is absolutely AMAZING, dang near perfection!
Like, I could watch this routine on repeat.
ICYMI, Jenna Ortega actually choreographed the dance herself!!
She watched hours of vintage footage of dancing 80s goth teens, incorporated a bit of Lisa Loring’s Wednesday character — the OG Wednesday — and channeled Siouxsie Sioux and Bob Fosse’s Rich Man’s Frug.
It all worked, because you can’t escape the viral video of dancing Jenna and the hundreds of copycat would-be dancers that mimic her moves.
