My absolute favorite Pixar Movie of all times is Inside Out.
I don’t think I’ve ever ugly cried so much during a movie in my entire life.
Especially after having kids, Inside Out just resonated with me in a way that no movie ever had before.
Now, we are getting our first glimpse of Inside Out 2, and y’all, I feel this one in my soul.
They are introducing a new emotion, Anxiety, and I think most of us can relate.
Break out the Kleenex, right?!? This is going to be a roller coaster of emotions.
The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out—but next summer, everything changes when Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. According to director Kelsey Mann, the new character promises to stir things up within headquarters. ‘Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, might be new to the crew, but she’s not really the type to take a back seat,’ said Mann. ‘That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what goes on inside all our minds.’Official Inside Out 2 Synopsis
Now, unfortunately Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling are not returning as the voices of Fear and Disgust — Sad Face Emoji — but they will be replaced by Tony Hale and Liza Lapira.
My kids are already wondering what the difference is between Fear and Anxiety.
Oh, there is definitely a difference, and I bet the new Inside Out 2 is going to describe it perfectly.
