Mars Wrigley Has Recalled Bags Of Skittles, LifeSavers, And Starburst Gummies. Here’s What We Know.
Mars Wrigley in the US and Canada has issued a voluntary recall on some pretty popular candy.
Skittle Gummies, Starburst Gummies, and Life Saver gummies are the candies in question.
Some customers have complained that some of these candies might have a thin metal strand inside the candies or loose in the bag.
Now, don’t panic, just check your drawers and cupboards. It’s pretty easy to make sure you don’t have any of the affected candy.
You can tell if you have any of the candy in question by checking the first three numbers in the 10-digit manufacturing code that is on the back of the product.
There aren’t that many manufacturing codes that are included in the recall, so it should be pretty simple to check and see if you have any of the candies in question.
The 10-digit manufacturing codes are as follows:
We received reports from consumers alerting us to this matter and are not aware of any illnesses to date.
