Matthew McConaughey Is Officially Going To Star In A ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff, And I Can’t Wait

I, much like the rest of the world, am obsessed with the world of Yellowstone.

Like, I binge watched the first 4 seasons of Yellowstone, 1883, and 1923 in less than a week. Don’t judge.

BTW: If anyone knows where the heck I can binge the first half of Yellowstone season 5, let me know. I can’t find it anywhere!!

I was pretty excited, and hesitantly optimistic when word started spreading that Matthew McConaughey might possibly be in talks to jump in on the ever growing number of Yellowstone spinoffs.

If there were ever a role that Matthew McConaughey was meant to play, it just might be a cowboy at the Yellowstone ranch!

Well, guess what, my friends.

It has been CONFIRMED that Matthew McConaughey will, in fact, be joining the world of the Yellowstone.

Alright, alright, alright!!!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, McConaughey is most definitely set “to star in a Yellowstone extension, which will move forward regardless of whether [Kevin] Costner returns to the original.”

ICYMI, there has been a lot of talk about whether Kevin Costner will return to his role as John Dutton.

Kevin, who reportedly makes over $1million per episode, was supposedly balking at a return to the Yellowstone due to the filming schedule.

Now, this is something that has since been denied.

Thank goodness, a source told Entertainment Weekly that the show isn’t going anywhere.

But, whether Kevin Costner is or is not returning to the show, they are moving forward with a Matthew McConaughey spinoff, and that makes me happy!

There is no word on if and when filming might start on the McConaughey Yellowstone spinoff.
