Matthew Perry Has Died. Here’s What We Know Happened.

Matthew Perry, one of the beloved stars from the hit show Friends has passed away today.

TMZ first reported that Matthew, who played Chandler Bing on the show Friends had reportedly died today due to a drowning accident according to law enforcement sources who told TMZ.

TMZ says that the actor was found in his L.A. home today where first-responders rushed to his house on a call for a cardiac arrest, although it’s unclear where exactly on the grounds this occurred.

TMZ’s sources explained that Matthew was found dead in his jacuzzi at home and that there were no drugs found at the scene, nor any foul play.

However, TMZ’s latest update reports that Matthew died at his own house after some physical activity this Saturday morning.

TMZ was also told that Matthew had returned home sometime this morning after playing two hours of pickle-ball.

Matthew then asked his assistant to run an errand shortly after and two hours later after returning from the errand, the assistant found Matthew unresponsive and called 9-1-1, TMZ learned.

It’s currently unclear if what Matthew was doing before his passing had anything to do with his death and an investigation into his passing is still ongoing.
