What Is This New Netflix Suspense Film About?

On the surface, this film probably sounds like something that might be right up your alley.

It’s set in the early 1990s, and centers around two police officers — Washington and Malek — who are investigating a series of murders that have occurred in Los Angeles.

But, as the police officers begin the arduous task of investigating the case, they become obsessed.

What starts as the hunt for a brutal serial killer turns into a psychological personal journey for the two police officers.

They must dredge up their own complicated pasts and deal with personal demons that have haunted them for years.

It’s far more than just your standard whodunit crime drama. It’s insanely intense, and you’re going to want to look away — but can’t.

Some of the scenes are brutal. It’s extremely psychologically disturbing. There’s nudity. You will definitely hear a BUNCH of foul language. There’s sex-related situations and dialogue. There are images of dead bodies.

Just be very cautious going into this film, and know you are probably going to be triggered at one point or another.
