This Office Chair Was Made With Extra Space For Needy Fur Babies To Sit Next To You

There is an office chair that lets your pet sit beside you while you work at your computer, and it is the best fur baby invention EVER.

Now, this is a pet product I can really get behind — or beside as the case may be. Ha!

There are some pets that simply can’t stay away from their humans. They sit by them, sit on them, sit on their computers, lay at their feet, and they are always under foot like little shadows that simply stay attached at all times.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, the humans usually LOVE it, and encourage their pet to be as close as possible at all times — like me. I will admit that I am one of those people.

I mean, I LOVE my doggo. I even have a BFF necklace with him. Don’t judge!

That’s why I freaked out when I saw this chair that was invented by Simone Giertz.

It isn’t only an awesome chair with room for your pet to sit beside you, it is also a comfy dog house — or I guess it could be a cat house as well.

How cool is this?!?

Simone had a little “situation” with her dog — as so many of us do. Her dog, Scraps, would follow her around, and constantly want to be held while she was working at her desk.

She would have to pick him up and give him cuddles, and then 5 minutes later he would want to be put down.

She made him a bed on her desk, but that got completely in the way of her work — not to mention the fact that he still wanted to get up and down from the desk.

Being the super creative crafty inventor that she is, she had the idea to design a chair that would accommodate her needy pup, and still allow her to get work done.

The seat of the chair is wide enough for both a human and a dog bootie to fit, and there are stairs that go up the back so the dog can come and go as he pleases.

There are also little drawers built into the stairs, so Simone can keep Scraps’ toys or treats.

In the FRONT of the chair, under Simone’s legs, she built a little door opening that leads into the most functional and comfortable dog house ever.

So, Scraps can sit next to her or under her — wherever he feels comfortable — and he can climb up and down the stairs all by himself!

Now, this chair was a prototype, and it isn’t available for sale as of yet. *Boo*

Simone wants to work out the kinks and get it to a little less bulky in size before she considers marketing them.

But I can tell you, I will be FIRST in line when these chairs actually become available for sale!
