Here’s How To Make The Prosecco Grapes Everyone is Talking About
Prosecco and New Year’s Eve…
They just go together, right?!? Or ya know, any day of the year…
You can’t have a New Year’s Eve celebration without ushering in the new year with the sweet bubbly perfection of Prosecco.
I mean, I guess you can use a different bubbly spirit, but why?!?
Now, you can make the perfect bite-sized Prosecco treat for your NYE table, and you’re going to love it!!
You get the pop of sweet grape flavor with the taste of delicious Prosecco — it’s heavenly.
How To Make Prosecco Grapes
This is just about the easiest treat you will have at your NYE celebration, and it’s definitely going to be a crowd pleaser.
First things first, you need to go procure some green seedless grapes. Only green grapes will do.
Just joking. You can totally use red seedless grapes, but the green ones just pair perfectly with the Prosecco.
You are also going to need a bottle of your favorite Prosecco, some sugar, and hit up that liquor store for a bit of vodka.
The most time consuming part is taking the grapes off the stem — but it has to be done.
Give the grapes a good rinse, and put them into a big bowl.
Now, pour your bottle of Prosecco and about 5 ounces of vodka over the grapes, and cover them with plastic wrap.
Place them in the fridge, and let them hang out for at least an hour — the longer the better.
When they are done marinating in all that boozy goodness, take the grapes out and drain them.
Don’t pour that good alcohol down the drain!! Drink it — maybe in a bit of cranberry or orange juice!
Put the grapes in a gallon size Ziploc bag with about 3/4 cups of sugar.
Seal that bag up and shake the heck out of it!!
You want to coat all those grapes in the sparkly sweetness of the sugar.
Now, you’re just going to dump them into a serving bowl. Done!
That’s literally it. People are going to LOVE them — eat them up, if you will.
