Reese Witherspoon is Starring in ‘Legally Blonde 3’ and I’m So Excited
It has been 19 years since Reese Witherspoon first played the role of Elle Woods in “Legally Blonde”! It’s been 17 years since the sequel, “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde”. I feel so freaking old…
Now we have Legally Blonde 3 on its way and I can not wait! I’m super excited to know that Reese Witherspoon will be in the new movie. I mean, how could we have a 3rd movie without her!
Legally Blonde movies had such great quotable lines! Lines that stick with you many years later, at least for me anyhow…is that weird?

They first announced the possibility of a third movie back in 2018. When it was first talked about it was reported that the script was being developed by the original screenwriters, Kirsten Smith and Karen McCullah.
However, that has changed and the script is being written by Mindy Kaling (Never Have I Ever) and Dan Goor (Brooklyn Nine-Nine).
Instead of working from the screenplay that had been started, they scrapped it and started over.
This newest installment of our favorite pink powered girl will be produced by Reese Witherspoon’s own production company, Hello Sunshine studio. It will also be produced by the original producer, Marc Platt.
There has not been any information on what the concept of the new Legally Blonde movie will be, but hopefully, we will hear more about that soon. I have faith that it will be hilarious since the writers are known for their comedy writing.
Both Legally Blonde movies brought in about $267M at the WW box office. The original movies also spawned a 2007 Broadway musical. The musical received 7 Tony nominations!
