Ryan Seacrest is The New Host For ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ And I Can’t Wait To See Him In Action
ICYMI, Pat Sajak is stepping down as host of Wheel of Fortune after next season — a position he has held for 40 years!
Pat Sajak will host the 41st season of Wheel of Fortune, and then he’s outta here.
Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last. It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months. Many thanks to you all. (If nothing else, it’ll keep the clickbait sites busy!)
Pat Sajak
There has been a hunt on for the next host of the popular game show, and it looks like they’ve finally found their man.
Ryan Seacrest will be stepping into the giant shoes left by Pat Sajak after next season.
You might be wondering, “How in the heck is Ryan Seacrest going to have the time? I mean, he has his hands in so many other projects.”
I wondered the same thing! I mean, between his radio gig and multiple tv gigs — like American Idol — I’m not sure how the dude sleeps, let alone signs up to host a game show!
But, he has indeed signed a multi-year agreement to step up to the big spinning wheel after Pat Sajak makes his exit.
I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak. I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them.

Congratulations to Ryan, and we can’t wait to see how this new chapter at Wheel of Fortune plays out.
