XOXO Looks Like Gossip Girl May Be The Next Show to Get A Reboot
Hey there, Upper East Siders! Lonely Boy might be back on your small screen as someone other than the creepy New York stalker… er, I mean as the OTHER creepy New York stalker, because Gossip Girl might be getting a the REBOOT treatment.
I mean, sure we are excited about the 90210 re-reboot coming this summer, but this, this makes us want to pull out our patent leather Mary Janes and favorite headband!
The CW president Mark Pedowitz told reporters at the Television Critics Association Winter Press tour that there is DEFINITELY some discussion happening about a Gossip Girl reboot!
“There’s a discussion, but I don’t know if we’re there yet,” Pedowitz answered when asked about rebooting everyone’s favorite rich kids show, “I don’t know what it would be. A lot is up to Warner Bros. and Josh [Schwartz] and Steph[anie Savage], because you don’t want to do anything without them.”
Eeep! We have so many questions. Would the original cast return for this Gossip Girl Reboot? Or would it be more of a Roswell/Dynasty/Charmed thing?
Leighton Meester is busy playing a single mom. I would actually be sad to see her go, because this show is so dang cute, honestly.
Penn Badgley is busy being a super creeper over in You. Wow, I have so much to say about this show, but mostly that it is way creepy and Penn gives me the hella creeps.
Blake Lively is off– well having amazing hair and living a weird twitter life. Doing her thing in movies, and just being the effortless socialite she always was.

It would be fun to see the whole gang back together, but it would be a completely different show now that they don’t have any parents to deal with.
Not that they really spent all that much time dealing with their parents anyway.
But I would watch just for Dorota again.
In fact, let’s just have a spin off all about her.
