Starbucks Just Released Their First Blue Drinks In A Long Time and I’m Freaking Out

Starbucks says it’s officially summer with their latest menu drop.

And get these – they are BLUE!! You guys – it’s been FOREVER since they’ve had blue drinks.

That’s right, the coffee chain has officially released a trio of new drinks that will help cool you down during the dog days of summer when a bottle of water, is simply not enough.

The innovation of drinks which have been dubbed their Summer-Berry Refreshers, are the FIRST, blue colored drinks the coffee giant has offered in years!

Considering Starbucks has decorated many of their drinks in almost every color of the rainbow, for some reason blue, was the only color left out for a long time, until now that is.

The bright blue drinks, which are certainly poolside must-haves are also boba-inspired.

That’s right, Starbucks went all out.

The tiny balls at the bottom of these drinks, which Starbucks are currently calling Raspberry Flavored Pearls, introduce a colorful addition to the lineup of drinks and a fruity pop of flavor!

The new blue boba-inspired drinks come in three different varieties including the:

• Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers Beverage: With a layer of raspberry flavored pearls found at the bottom of this drink, this Refresher blends raspberry, blueberry, and blackberry flavors combined with water.
• Summer-Berry Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers Beverage: Nearly twinning with the Summer-Berry Starbucks Refresher, the only difference with this new beverage is the substitution for lemonade over water.
• Summer Skies Drink: Including the same ingredients as the Summer-Berry Starbucks Refresher and the Summer-Berry Lemonade Starbucks Refresher, the Summer Skies Drink opts for a coconut milk-base rather than lemonade or water.

Alongside the new drinks, Starbucks’ summer menu also includes two new desserts including the Orange Cream Cake Pop and the Pineapple Cloud Cake which sound like heaven.

Starbucks’ summer menu drops TODAY, which means you can officially try everything new that Starbucks has to offer this summer!
