The ‘Chair Challenge’ Can Be Easily Done By Women But Not Men
Have y’all see this Chair Challenge that is going around on Facebook? For some reason, it can be easily done by women but not men.
The premise is easy. You stand with your nose to the wall. You take two foot-to-toe steps back, and then stand with your feet side-by-side. Basically at a 90 degree angle with the wall.
Bend the upper half of your body down, and put your forehead against the wall. Slide in a chair, and lift it to your chest. Now, stand up. Easy, right?!?
Not so much — if you are a dude. The thinking is that women have a lower sense of gravity than guys. Therefore, the ladies can more easily stand.
Other people say it’s because men are often taller and have bigger feet.
But nobody really knows why women can do it easier than men.
It’s quite funny to watch all these people trying this challenge. There are a few exceptions the the rule, but generally speaking, the guys can’t lift their bodies back up.
Grab a chair and try it. Are you able to lift your body up off the wall?
Even without the use of one of her arms, this lady has no trouble completing this challenge.
Her male counterpart, not so much. He can’t lift his head more than a couple inches up off the wall.
Try this challenge at your next party. Do we still call it a party if we are adults? Maybe ‘Get Together’ is more appropriate? I don’t know. Just do it.
Make sure you post it with the hashtag #chairchallenge so everyone can see it! I am curious as to whether kids have the same trouble adults have. It may be a good experiment to capture on video!
Want to see a challenge you most definitely should NOT try? Watch as these teens glue their lips together.
I did it
Lower *center* of gravity haha, but I love the post!!!
