Tom Sizemore Has Died

I hop onto Facebook and I see the saddest news possible – Tom Sizemore has died. He was 61 years old.

This news just came days after it was announced that he had suffered a brain aneurysm that was caused by a stroke he had.

Tom Sizemore — who you probably know from films like Saving Private Ryan and Point Break.

At the end of February, doctors informed Sizemore’s family that his recovery was unlikely and they’d have to make a decision on end of life soon.

Sizemore’s manager confirmed the actor’s passing to PEOPLE, following up on his statement from earlier in the week.

“It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore (“Tom Sizemore”) aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank,” his rep said in a statement.
