I have to admit, last year wasn’t the same without Toys R Us but now, it has been announced that Toys ‘R’ Us Is Opening New Stores Before Black Friday and all seems right in the world!

After filing Bankruptcy in 2018, Toys R Us is finally making a comeback!

Last month they announced a partnership with Target and officially brought the Toys R Us website back online.

Now, physical stores may be opening near you before Black Friday meaning you can once shop for insane toy deals but it won’t be entirely like it used to.

According to reports, the Toys R Us locations will be much, much smaller before and while some physical merchandise may be available for purchase, there will be more interactive areas and kiosks you can use to purchase items online.

The old Toys “R” Us stores were 40,000-square-foot behemoths with merchandise stacked on endless rows of metal shelves. The new stores are about 6,500 square feet, with interactive spaces where kids and parents can play with toys.

Toys R Us is partnering with the retail service startup B8ta to create hands-on, engaging experiences for kids and their parents rather than just having an entire store filled with toys to purchase.

As of right now the two locations opening prior to Black Friday will be in Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey, and The Galleria in Houston.

For those not lucky enough to live near one of these locations, you can visit the Toys R Us Website and shop online.

No matter how you see it, I am just glad Toys R Us is back for this holiday season. It almost makes the holidays really feel like the holidays once again.
