Frasier is back in the building.

Nearly 20 years after the series finale, Frasier is back with a fresh reboot series, and now an entire new generation is about to get to know Dr. Frasier Crane.

I can’t wait to catch up with Frasier, and see what he’s been up to for the past 20 years!

Here’s everything we know about the new Frasier series so far.

What Is the Frasier Reboot About?

We first met Frasier Crane on Cheers.

He was a rather rigid therapist from Boston, who frequented the bar alongside a crazy cast of characters.

He then moved to Seattle to pursue a job as a call-in radio host, and we followed along.

Now, Frasier is back in Boston where it all started, ready to take on a whole new chapter in his life.

Filmed in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, the new series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!

Who Is Returning For The Frasier Reboot?

With the passing of John Mahoney, we can rule out Martin Crane from the show, although he will be addressed.

Unfortunately, also not reprising his role for the Frasier stage is Frasier’s brother, Dr. Niles Crane (David Hyde Pierce) — but I wonder if we will get a cameo at some point.

So, who has signed on to return?

Beside Kelsey Grammer as Frasier, we can expect to see Bebe Neuwirth as Dr. Lilith Sternin, Jane Leeves as Daphne, and Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle.

There will also be a whole new cast of characters, including Nicholas Lyndhurst (Only Fools and Horses), who will be playing Alan Cornwall, an old college friend of Frasier.

We will get to know Freddy — Jack Cutmore-Scott (Tenet) — Frasier’s son who briefly appeared in the OG Frasier.

Also confirmed is Jess Salgueiro (The Boys) as Freddy’s roommate, Eve.

Where Can You Watch The Frasier Reboot?

The Frasier reboot will be exclusive to Paramount+, so it’s about time to go re-up that subscription.

When Will The Frasier Reboot Premier?

We don’t have to wait long, because they will be dropping the first two episodes of the Frasier revival on Thursday, October 12.

You can then catch a new episode of Frasier every week on the streaming platform.
