I Tried Chick-fil-A’s New Sandwich And Here’s My Honest Thoughts

Chick-fil-A just dropped a new Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich on their menu, and it really had me curious.

As soon as it was available, I ran out to my local Chick-fi-A restaurant to get one for myself.

I had to see if this Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich was worth the hype, did it live up to the buzz I’ve heard online?

Here’s what I thought of this new chicken hybrid sandwich.

What Is The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich?

It sounds pretty bizarre, I must admit.

It is the traditional CFA Chicken Sandwich, with a twist.

They put a scoop of pimento cheese on top of the chicken, added a touch of honey, and they replaced the pickles with jalapeños.

Sounds like a crazy mashup, doesn’t it?!?

What’s In The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich?

When I picked up the sandwich, I nervously took it out of the box to see what the heck I had just gotten myself into.

It didn’t have as much pimento cheese on top of the chicken like the picture in the ad showed, but it didn’t look too bad.

I will say, it smelled AMAZING.

This sandwich has four jalapeños on the bottom bun, the chicken filet — which you can choose to get in regular, spicy, or grilled — a scoop of jalapeño pimento cheese, a bit of honey, and then the top bun.

What Did I Think Of The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich?

Let’s just get this out of the way.

It. Was. Freaking. Delicious.

The pimento cheese paired with the chicken in a creamy way that just works.

The pickled jalapeño on the bottom of the sandwich added just a touch of spicy heat which was a really nice touch.

But, my favorite part was the bite of sweet honey. I couldn’t see it, but was definitely there.

This honey was a totally delicious contrast to the heat of the jalapeño, and it complimented the creaminess of the pimento cheese in the best way.

This sandwich is pretty much perfection, and you have to try it.

Even my sister, who typically doesn’t like pimento cheese, was a big fan of the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.

I’m just going to say, the combination of all the ingredients just works. It works in a next-level kind of way.
