People Are Cleaning The Bottom of Their Pans With Ketchup. So, Does It Really Work?

The bottom of our saucepans and frying dishes have seen the worst when it comes down to cooking in the kitchen. 

You may or may not have noticed the burnt bottom of your frying pan from rubbing the stovetop when flipping a pancake or swishing around a saucepan to simmer sauce. 

Whether your saucepan or frying machine was a shiny metallic copper before purchasing, apparently ketchup can make your pans look new again. 

People on TikTok are covering the bottom of their pans with ketchup thanks to @jessiesayhey who shared the life hack that went viral with over one million likes and ten thousand comments.

That’s right, the same sauce that goes great with french fries.

Choose the pans you wish to clean and smooth over a fine bit of ketchup, give it a few hours to oxidize and let the acidity of the ketchup work it’s charm and then rinse and wash again! 

The tarnish below the copper bottom pans should wipe clean and look brand new or at least 90% better!
