This is a Volkswagen Bus Portable Record Player – AHHH. Yes, it totally plays music as it “drives” around your vinyl record.
It is small, so it is super portable! You can just set it on a shelf out of the way as a decoration and it barely takes up any space.
When I say it is small, I’m not lying. It is 4.7″ x 2.4″ x 2.2″. I REALLLLLLY really want one!
This little thing was invented in Japan back in the 70s! With a resurgence of the love of vinyl, Japan decided it was time to bring it back! This is the smallest record player in the world! It still has the same looks with some additional upgrades and features.
To use it all you have to do is turn it on and place it on the record. It will literally drive around the record and play the music through its built-in speaker! It even has a fine pitch adjustment so you can get a quality sound!
It’s powered by 2 AAA batteries and will give you around 90 minutes of playtime. I would suggest using rechargeable batteries. It does have an auto-stop feature for when the record is finished so that it doesn’t run down the battery.
