Move Over McDonald's, Wendy's is Bringing Us The Snack Wrap Back

Remember the good ol’ days of McDonald’s menu items?

For me, I loved the McDonald’s Salad Shakers and of course, the snack wrap.

While McDonald’s hasn’t caught onto the fact we want these items back, Wendy’s has!

Yes, Wendy’s is bringing us the snap wrap back and things seem to be well in the universe now.

Wendy’s has added two different snack wraps to their menus.

The first one is the Grilled Chicken Snap wrap and is described as “Herb-marinated grilled 100% Canadian chicken breast wrapped in a flour tortilla with crisp lettuce, shredded cheese, and honey mustard. It’s a handful of flavor.”

It is 290 calories for those calorie counting!

The second Wendy’s wrap is the Spicy Chicken Wrap and it is described as “Juicy, All White Meat chicken breast marinated and breaded in our unique, fiery blend of peppers and spices to deliver more flavour inside and out, wrapped in a tortilla with crisp lettuce, shredded cheese, and ranch sauce. It’s a whole handful of hot.”

It is 360 calories.

Wendy’s global chief marketing officer, Carl Loredo, told CNN that grilled chicken is used in place of crispy chicken that was in McDonald’s wrap, because he said Wendy’s fans are looking for “lighter and more portable menu items.”

And honestly, he’s right.
