Here’s Why We Didn’t See Regina George In The New ‘Mean Girls’ Commercial

You have to admit, that Mean Girls reunion commercial starring Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, And Lacey Chabert was pretty fetch.

Seeing our Plastics as their older selves with kids of their own was next level greatness.

There was, however, one missing piece of the Means Girls reunion, and we all felt it.

Regina George wasn’t there!

This can be explained away by the ending of the movie — spoiler alert — Regina George had a new group of friends at the end of the film.

But, it still would have been amazing to have her show up to the reunion. She was, after all, a pretty key figure in the OG Mean Girls movie.

Why Wasn’t Regina George In The Mean Girls Reunion Commercial?

Rachel McAdams is now explaining why we didn’t see Regina George in the Means Girls reunion commercial, and I’m not sure how to feel about it.

Basically, and this is my paraphrase of the situation, she was too good to do a commercial.

I don’t know; I guess I wasn’t that excited about doing a commercial if I’m being totally honest. A movie sounded awesome, but I’ve never done commercials, and it just didn’t feel like my bag.

Um, okay. That is kind of the most Regina George reason for not showing up to a Mean Girls reunion ever!

Also…I didn’t know that everyone was doing it. I would, of course, always love to be part of a ‘Mean Girls’ reunion and hang with my plastics, but yeah, I found that out later.
