You Can Book A Sleepover at The World's Last Blockbuster Video Store Complete with VHS Movies

Blockbuster used to be the place to go! I loved being able to go pick out movies to rent with my family or friends. In fact, I remember when we got our very first VCR! Yes, I’m old. I remember you could even get movie candy and bags of microwave popcorn!

Then technology changed and Blockbusters started disappearing. The local mom and pop rental stores too, it still makes me sad. But now you can experience it in a new way!

The very last Blockbuster store that existed is now an Airbnb! You can freaking rent the Blockbuster! This is one of the coolest things ever!

It’s located in Bend, Oregon. The catch? You have to be located in Deschutes County.

The store manager, Sandi Harding, is currently offering 3 one-night reservations in September to thank her community.

In appreciation for all that the local community has recently done to support the last-of-its-kind during these uncertain times, this end of summer sleepover will offer movie lovers in Deschutes County the chance for a 90s-themed stay to relive the bygone Friday night tradition just as we remember it,
