The verdict of the defamation case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was finalized today.
It stands that Amber has to pay Johnny $8.35 million PLUS a 6% annual interest rate on the money.
That’s an additional $621K for those wondering…
Now, Johnny also still owes Amber $2 million, also with the 6% annual interest rate. But, let’s get real. One of those parties is going to have a MUCH harder time paying the money.

Here Is Why The Johnny Depp Vs. Amber Heard Verdict Was Just Now Finalized.
Judge Penney Azcarate — that rockstar judge that heard the case for 6 long weeks — gave Johnny and Amber until June 24th to come up with a settlement.
If they reached a settlement, that would be submitted in the final record. BUT, if the two failed to reach a settlement, the verdict from the original trial would stand.
No settlement was reached, thus the verdict of the jury stands.
Judge Azcarate entered the judgment order into the docket — which is a fancy way to say that it’s all done and over with.
