Anne Rice, Author Of ‘Interview With The Vampire’ Has Died
Super sad news to wake up to this morning…
Anne Rice, one of my favorite authors passed away Saturday.
Her son, Christopher Rice, announced the news on social media for her fans, she died from complications due to a stroke she had.
She lived a long exciting life filled with huge success, she was 80 years old.
When I was in high school I read all of her books, even the ones under her pen name of A. N. Roquelaure.
Many people know her best from her very first novel, ‘Interview with the Vampire’, which was published in 1976… this led to a total of 13 books with the last one being published in 2018.
The vampire Lestat was a character that many quickly fell in love with and the book was later turned into an amazing movie called ‘Interview with the Vampire’ in 1994.
I had an idea of Lestat as the man of action, the man who could do things that I couldn’t do.
Rice said in a talk at Southern Illinois University in 2010.
I mean, she was really the person that kicked off all of the vampire stories and shows that we all love, like ‘The Vampire Diaries’.
Anne Rice will be buried in a private ceremony in New Orleans and there is a public memorial being planned for next year, according to her son.
I loved her books I read most of Ann Rice book the that I could not put down was Interview with the Vampire I also saw the movie RIP ann rice one of a favorite author
