Age is but a number, and The Bachelor series is proving just that.
The famous Bachelor series that created the iconic rose ceremony now has a new show but with a twist.
What’s dubbed The Golden Bachelor, this new series is a spin-off of the current Bachelor franchise but for seniors only!
So for the seniors who are looking for a second shot at finding the love of your life, how does reality TV sound?
The unscripted series will follow the journey of what they call a “Golden man” and several women who are looking to win over one man’s heart.
The new series description is as follows,
“One hopeless romantic is given a second chance at love in the search for a partner with whom to share the sunset years of life,” according to a press release from ABC.

“The women arriving at the mansion have a lifetime of experience, living through love, loss and laughter, hoping for a spark that ignites a future full of endless possibilities. In the end, will our Golden man turn the page to start a new chapter with the woman of his dreams,” according to ABC.

As for the rest of the details including a release date, the cast, or the age of the contestants have not be released just yet.
However, viewers can expect the new spin-off series to debut this fall on ABC.
“After more than 20 years of fostering young love on ‘The Bachelor,’ ‘The Bachelorette’ and ‘Bachelor in Paradise,’ ‘The Golden Bachelor’ showcases a whole new kind of love story – one for the golden years,” an ABC press release for the show reads.
