This Bookshelf Secretly Holds A Table And Four Chairs And I Need One

OMG! This is the COOLEST, and I can’t believe nobody has thought of it before!

You can get a bookshelf that hides a table and two chairs, and I need one for each of my kids’ rooms. I also need a solid color one for the front room. This is genius!

This brilliant piece of furniture is called the “As if from nowhere…” and it was created by Dublin-based designer, Orla Reynolds.

This looks like just an ordinary colorful, modern bookshelf, but when you look closer, there are two chairs and a table that pull right out from the center of the shelves.

You see it now? The table is purple, and the chairs are red, green, blue, or red.

The table is a slender desk, but you have TWO bookshelves that contain one of these tables. You can put the tables together, and what you get is a flat work surface that is about the size of a card table.

How fun would this be for crafts?!? Easy cleanup, AMIRITE?!? Or, what about when the kids have friends come over. They could totally eat at this table.

I also think this would be PERFECT for homeschooling especially if you are working with a small space.

The shelves are also modular, so you can move them around to suit your fancy — or your house.

You can either use them like a standard bookshelf style design, or you can separate them into a cool block design. I have two kids, so I could even put one set in each kids’ room. That way, they EACH get a small desk and chairs.
