‘Bridgerton’ Season 3 Is Set to Focus On Penelope And Colin. Here’s What We Know.

I Love, Love, Loved the first season of Bridgerton. That Duke of Hastings, AMIRITE?!?

But, can I be honest with you? The second season of the show just didn’t do it for me.

There was, however, one aspect of the show that piqued my romance-loving interest.

The relationship between Penelope and Colin.

I don’t really care that, in the final episode of the second season, we saw Penelope overhear Colin say he would never marry her.

Hurtful? Yes. Final? No.

Season 3 will reveal how (or if…) Penelope and Colin go from friends to lovers!

Not only did Netflix drop the news on a possible romance between Penelope and Colin, Shonda Rhimes’ production company confirmed the story as truth.

Gah!! Giddy!! Viewers will get to follow along as the love story between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin (Luke Newton) blooms.

Now, the third installment of Bridgerton will differ from the order of the books — written by Julia Quinn.

Netflix has chosen to base the 3rd season of the show on the 4th novel in the series.

Now, the 3rd book in the Bridgerton series follows the love life of Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson). They haven’t said anything about it yet, but I’m betting Netflix pushes this storyline to another season.

Not every fan is as pumped for #Polin as I am. They are miffed that the Benedict storyline is being skipped.

I guess we’ll see what the future holds for Benedict, but bring on #Polin!!
