Canada Has An Annual Hair Freezing Contest And The Photos Are Hilarious!
Crazy… there is absolutely no way that I could participate in this, but the images are entertaining and hilarious!
I think I would actually DIE if I tried this, I mean I can’t even walk through the frozen food section at the grocery store without my fingers turning white and freezing.
From what I can tell, I do believe that this particular contest ended last year, but the photos are all over the internet right now and you have to see them.
These images are from the previous annual Takhini Hot Springs Hair Freezing Contest, which was an annual competition in the Yukon Territory of Canada.

- Best Male
- Best Female
- Best Group
- Nongshim’s People’s Choice
- Tim Horton’s Most Creative
The prizes money is pretty sweet, the winner in each category gets $2,000 CAD and free passes to the hot springs.
Takhini Hot Pools has been running their annual Hair Freezing Contest since 2011 and it’s been super popular.
