It looks like Johnny Depp is bringing laughter to court.
As Amber Heard’s lawyers continue to object with hearsay claims in court, clips of Johnny Depp finding the shoutings to be humorous have gone viral.
TikTok user @SaraLianneX who shared a compilation of Depp reacting to Heard’s lawyers announcing “hearsay” while he speaks, has collected over five million views.
Throughout the short TikTok, Depp appears to hold back laughter with smirks as he is continuously interrupted by Heard’s lawyers who have repeated the phrase “hearsay” during the time he takes the stand.
Depp went even as far as asking a question facetiously in court by saying,
“I look at papers—maybe they’re hearsay papers,” creating laughter in the courtroom.

At one point in the clip, Depp pauses on his own terms in anticipation of Heard’s lawyers cutting him off with ‘hearsay’ claims.
Prompting laughter once again, Depp says while speaking in front of the court,
That’s hearsay, I guess.”
