This Controversial Horror Movie Is Streaming Now On Hulu And It’s Wicked Scary

When I think of places to watch new release movies, I don’t normally think of Hulu.

But, Hulu is the surprising new home for this controversial 2023 horror movie, so get ready!

What film am I talking about?

Skinamarink.

Have you heard of it?

It is an experimental supernatural horror film that was released into theaters in January of 2023.

What is Skinamarink about?

So, the premise of Skinamarink is pretty weird, but not all that far fetched for a horror film

Two kids wake up in the middle of the night to find themselves alone in their home. There are no parents or adults of any kind to be found.

They soon realize they are trapped in the house by an unseen force, and this force has somehow removed all the windows and doors from the home.

Creepy, right?!?

Why is Skinamarink controversial?

Well, it’s an experimental film. You know right there it isn’t going to be everyone’s cup of tea.

Critics seemed to think it was okay, but it got SLAMMED by the general public.

Some seem to think that the plot didn’t go anywhere, and it was rather boring and not so scary.

I think they were just confused about the meaning, but that’s just my opinion.

Skinamarink can be more confounding than frightening, but for viewers able or willing to dial into its unique wavelength, this unsettling film will be difficult to shake.
