Did Lizzo Quit Music?

“I quit.”

I don’t know a lot about Lizzo, I mean I know who she is and I’ve heard a few of her songs. But I know nothing about her as a person because it’s just not my genre.

“I quit.”… what does that even mean? Is Lizzo quitting music? Is she quitting the internet?

On Friday Lizzo shared a post on her Instagram Friday that was just text, a vent post. But at the end, it did indeed say “I quit”.

If you just focus on the section below it makes it seem like maybe she means she is quitting the internet. If I was famous I probably would totally avoid the internet honestly.

I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet. All I want is to make music and make people happy and help the world be a little better than how I found it.

She is also involved in two court cases and maybe that is getting to her…

This part also sounds like it’s the internet that she wants to quit.

I’m constantly going up against lies being told about me for clout & views… being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look… my character being picked apart by people who don’t know me and disrespecting my name.
