Ahhh I am so freaking excited – my kids will never understand my excitement!!

If you grew up in the ’90s/early 2000’s you know that watching Phineas and Ferb on Disney was a daily occurrence.

And if you’ve found yourself lately longing to watch cartoons from your childhood, I have some good news for you…

Disney’s Phineas and Ferb is making a comeback!!

Yes, it is real and very true!

In fact, it was revealed during the Television Critics Association winter tour earlier in the week that Disney gave a 40-episode order for a sequel series split up across two seasons.

Dan Povenmire also posted the information in total Phineas and Ferb fashion and people starting going crazy in the comments saying they couldn’t believe it was true.

At the moment, original series co-creator Dan Povenmire is heading up the new series, and talks are reportedly underway to lock in fellow co-creator Jeff “Swampy” Marsh.

On social media, voice actors Vince Martella (Phineas) and Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus) confirmed their involvement with the revival.

Does that mean Ashley Tisdale will make a comeback as Candace? I sure hope so!!
