And if you’ve found yourself lately longing to watch cartoons from your childhood, I have some good news for you…

Yes, it is real and very true!

In fact, it was revealed during the Television Critics Association winter tour earlier in the week that Disney gave a 40-episode order for a sequel series split up across two seasons.

Dan Povenmire also posted the information in total Phineas and Ferb fashion and people starting going crazy in the comments saying they couldn’t believe it was true.

At the moment, original series co-creator Dan Povenmire is heading up the new series, and talks are reportedly underway to lock in fellow co-creator Jeff “Swampy” Marsh.

On social media, voice actors Vince Martella (Phineas) and Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus) confirmed their involvement with the revival.

Does that mean Ashley Tisdale will make a comeback as Candace? I sure hope so!!
