Disney+ Is No Longer Offering A Free Trial
To be completely honest here, I feel like I’m one of the few people who has not signed up for an account with Disney+.
One of the perks about Disney+ is catching up on nostalgic tv shows and having a variety of Disney movies/television shows at the touch of your fingertips.
One of the other benefits the streaming company gave customers, was the ability to sign up for a free trial for one full week.
Did you catch the word “gave” as in, past tense… yes, it’s true.
Disney+ has removed their free trial and you will automatically be taken to their payment information page when you sign up.
According to a Disney+ spokesperson in a statement to The Verge,
“We continue to test and evaluate different marketing, offers, and promotions to grow Disney+. The service was set at an attractive price-to-value proposition that we believe delivers a compelling entertainment offering on its own, stated a spokesperson representing Disney+.”

Disney+ has removed the free trial just ahead of the broadway production Hamilton, releasing next month on the streaming platform.
This means that you can watch Disney+ for $6.99 a month or a pay an annual fee for $69.99. You can also purchase a bundle for $12.99 a month, for add-ons that include ESPN Plus and Hulu.
Either way, I’m pretty sad to see the free trial go, as I assume many other individuals are in the same boat.
