I about passed out when I went to get gas, and it was $3.87 a gallon! It’s been around $4.60 forever.

Now, I’m aware that we are lucky in our $4.60 gas, it has been so much higher other places in the country.

But, it looks like that’s about to change!!

According to the Energy Information Administration, the average gas price in the country as of the week of June 13th was $5.01 per gallon.

As of this last week, gas toppled to an average price of $4.77.

Can I get a Whoop-Whoop!!

It looks like that summer road trip might be back on, AMIRITE?!?

All signs — at the moment — point to gas prices drop, drop, dropping, and I’m nearly giddy!

Apparently, wholesale gas prices are down — according to Business Insider — and that could mean even better news for us who have to pay at the pump.

In the days and weeks ahead we’re going to see hundreds, nay, thousands of stations falling back under $4 per gallon

Now, I know we are nowhere near the prices we were seeing at this time last year, but we are definitely better off than we were just 2 or 3 weeks ago.

So, bottom line, gas up that car and get to getting! We don’t know how long this gas price plunge is going to last. You better take advantage while you can!
