This Gender Reveal Party Ended With A Deadly Plane Crash And I Think It’s Time We Put Gender Reveal Parties To Rest

When my daughter was pregnant with my first grandchild, she gave us each a cupcake. Inside the cupcake was colored filling, blue for boy or pink for girl.

Simple and fun, and since I wasn’t allergic to it… not deadly or dangerous at all.

It seems like everyone wants to top what anyone else is doing and it is leading to some dangerous outcomes. Some deadly, others resulting out of control wildfires.

I’m sad that this happened and that lives were lost. Maybe it’s just me, but isn’t just the fact that a new baby is coming exciting enough without explosions of a color?

Multiple news sources reported that a family was celebrating a gender reveal party on a yacht in a pretty blue lagoon near the Caribbean Sea.

A chartered plane was the reveal and released a pink cloud indicating that the baby is a girl. They were cheering and clapping and then things went very very bad.

“As long as it does not fall on us,” a man jokes, not even realizing what is about to happen.

“Is it a boy?” another man says.

You can watch the plane fly through the sky as the pilot releases the pink cloud.

“It’s a girl!” a woman shouts.

Something went very wrong

Just seconds after the release of the pink cloud, the plane goes out of frame for a moment. Then as it comes back into the frame you can see it taking a nose dive and crashing into the water.

Ugh, it makes me sick to even think about it… the lives lost and this being the memory of the day that should have been happy.

Both the pilot and the co-pilot were killed in the crash and so far the identities haven’t been released. I can’t even imagine witnessing this, our condolences go out to the families of those that lost their lives in the crash.
