An H&M Store Was Shut Down In NYC After A Picture Of Bugs On Clothing Was Released
You ever think about bugs and then get super itchy? Yeah, me too. So sorry ahead of time.
Imagine being in a store and looking through clothes, just to realize there are lice crawling all over them. Because that happened. So be happy it wasn’t you!
An H&M Store in NYC had to close down after an employee leaked these photos online of the infestation.
“I work at the H&M in the Oculus at World Trade & today a customer discovered lice on a rack of hoodies. They’re not closing the store nor are they notifying employees of the problem. The section was just blocked off.”

And of course, this went viral immediately, causing the corporation to respond just hours later.
“Out of an abundance of caution we have closed the H&M store at Westfield World Trade Center in order to investigate fully.”
H&M Representative
We don’t have any updates beyond that. No idea how the bugs got on the clothing, how many there are, or how large the infestation is. And I’m sure their employee is about to ‘disappear’ from the company…
